Place your aircraft on a Charter Management Agreement with Desert Jet. It will earn charter revenue and reduce your property taxes!
If your aircraft is 100% at your home-base airport, then you are responsible for 100% of the property taxes in that state. However, if your aircraft is used in charter operations across the United States, Canada and Mexico, your property taxes can be allocated to the various states where it has flown and exempt from property taxes for the time on international charter flights. Also, not all state property tax rates are the same. Allocating the aircraft value over multiple states could result in a lower property tax bill overall.
Generating revenue and reducing property taxes; now that’s a great idea!
