While in Central Park, be sure to visit the Central Park Zoo, the Belvedere Castle, and in the summer the Delacorte Theater, which hosts the famous Shakespeare in the park. These are sites you are not going to want to miss.

Next on the tour of New York City is the 9/11 Memorial. Pay tribute to the men, women, and children that lost their lives in the terrorist attack on September 11th. Visit the twin reflecting pools that sit where the twin towers once stood and find the names of all those killed inscribed on bronze parapets surrounding the memorial pools. Be sure to enjoy the September 11th Memorial Museum as well. The museum does a great job of documenting the impact of the event, as well as explaining the continuing significance of this tragic event.

Next stop is Coney Island. Be ready to be amazed at the famous beachfront amusement district. Enjoy a breath of fresh air along the boardwalk, in a real New York City neighborhood. Wanting a thrill? Try your luck on one of the 50+ thrill rides and attractions the park has to offer. For those with a simpler taste, a stroll along the beach may better suit you. While visiting Coney Island be sure to visit the Cyclones Baseball Stadium and the New York Aquarium.
