Coronavirus COVID-19: What To Expect When Utilizing Desert Jet Services
Our Commitment to Safe and Healthy Operations
As we welcome travelers onboard our charter fleet and at our executive FBO facility, we are committed to providing our guests and employees with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for reducing and preventing the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). We accomplish this by redefining our cleaning and disinfecting standards on every touchpoint and mitigating risk with no contact temperature screening and social distancing practices.
Based on the most current recommendations provided by health and industry experts, Desert Jet has instituted the current guidelines below for each of the services we provide. All cleaning products meet EPA criteria for use against the virus and are OEM-recommended and approved for use.
Desert Jet Charter Services
- In following CDC guidelines, all aircraft are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after each passenger flight.
- Desert Jet Flight Crews log their temperature twice daily, in the morning and evening.
- All employees practice social distancing, wear a face mask, and make use of protective gloves when appropriate.
- Face masks are available on all of our aircraft and are required for Desert Jet Flight Crew and passengers when boarding and disembarking the aircraft.
Desert Jet Center FBO Services
- For guests flying in and out of the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, CA, our brand-new, state-of-the-art FBO terminal offers convenience with zero touchpoints needed. Motion detectors on the lobby glass doors and automatic bathroom fixtures require no hand touching. Prepayment before arrival via credit card or fuel release avoids any additional touchpoints at the front counter.
- The entire FBO interior is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected twice daily, while high traffic areas are cleaned and disinfected continually throughout the day.
- Desert Jet Center conducts no contact temperature screening daily on all employees at the start of their shifts.
- All employees practice social distancing, wear a face mask, and make use of protective gloves when appropriate.
- Face masks are available at the lobby counter and are required to be worn by all guests and vendors visiting the FBO.
- Complimentary cabin disinfection is offered to all visiting aircraft. The services are completed by our on-site aircraft detailing team wearing protective safety suits, gloves, and face masks.
Desert Jet Maintenance
- Upon arrival, the aircraft is disinfected before any maintenance service is performed. Once maintenance is completed, the aircraft will be cleaned and disinfected prior to releasing.
- Desert Jet Maintenance conducts no contact temperature screening daily on all maintenance employees at the start of their shifts.
- All employees practice social distancing, wear a face mask, and make use of protective gloves when appropriate.
- Face masks are required to be worn by all customers and vendors visiting the repair station.
