Desert Jet | Desert Jet Marks Earth Day with 4AIR Sustainability Partnership, Earns Facility Neutral Certificate

In recognition of Earth Day, Desert Jet today announced its sustainability partnership with 4AIR, reinforcing its commitment to responsible growth across its expanding aviation platform.

Desert Jet | Desert Jet Marks Earth Day with 4AIR Sustainability Partnership, Earns Facility Neutral CertificateThrough the partnership, Desert Jet has offset 43 metric tons of CO₂e via verified carbon offset projects tied to operations at Desert Jet Center, its flagship FBO at Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM). The initiative reflects a broader strategy to integrate measurable environmental accountability alongside continued operational expansion. This builds on Desert Jet’s existing sustainability initiatives, including the ongoing availability of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at Desert Jet Center to support lower lifecycle carbon emissions, compared to conventional jet fuel.

“Growth at Desert Jet is intentional, and how we grow matters,” said Desert Jet CEO Jared Fox. “At Desert Jet, we’re committed to scaling our business in a way that is both operationally excellent and environmentally responsible. Partnering with 4AIR allows us to take tangible, credible steps toward reducing our impact.”

Fox added, “This is just the beginning. As we continue to expand our footprint, sustainability will remain embedded in how we build, operate, and serve our guests.”

Desert Jet’s recent growth includes new hangar development at Yampa Valley Regional Airport (KHDN) and planned ramp and apron expansion at KTRM, aligning infrastructure investments with sustainability initiatives, including carbon-neutral facility operations and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

“We are pleased to welcome Desert Jet as a partner in the 4AIR sustainability framework,” said Nancy Bsales, 4AIR COO. “Their approach reflects a strong balance between growth and measurable sustainability efforts.”
